Well, by both cars, but I would choose the BMW if I was in the market for a car like this! Check it out! V12 twin turbo engine in a 7 series!

Wifi in cars

Wifi in cars… I’m not sure about this.

I really love technology, I love new gadgets, and I love having the 3G network and an iPhone that enables me to do stuff online from everywhere.

Think about having full broadband in your car! Sitting in the back seat streaming a tv show or movie, sounds great!

My question is: how does this fit in with the new law that we aren’t allowed to text or even talk on our cell phones unless we have a Bluetooth headset? I can just see someone thinking that he’s good enough to bring his laptop on a commute to check his email or the latest sports news while driving to work. It’s an accident that’s waiting to happen!

Vancouver International Auto Show 2008

As I mentioned in a previous post, I attended the Vancouver International Auto Show.

I think, however, over the past few years, I have gotten less and less out of the stock cars, and more and more into the modified cars. There are some new cars that excite me, like the Audi R8 pictured above, and the Dodge Challenger pictured below.

But a lot of the cars and trucks these days don’t get me going. I don’t like the look of the new Dodge caravans, and durangos, or the new Ford lineup. The volvo’s look the same, as do the mini’s and VW’s. Recently I find myself more into the older cars, redone, modified, restored, and I am looking forward to the summer days when show and shines are a weekend regular.

German Garage

Talk about German efficiency! The two photos below were taken at a new parking garage in Munich . The actual space that the facility occupies is approximately only 20% of a comparable facility with the traditional design that is used primarily in the U.S Not only is the German structure less expensive to build, but vehicles are also retrieved in less time and without the potential risk of being damaged by an attendant.

2007 Lexus LS 460 Auto Park

I found this video quite amusing. Some guys from Automobile Magazine test the auto park feature of the new LS 460. Doesn’t seem to work quite that well…although, I believe it works a bit better for parallel parking.

Either way, I’d park my own car.
