German Garage
Talk about German efficiency! The two photos below were taken at a new parking garage in Munich . The actual space that the facility occupies is approximately only 20% of a comparable facility with the traditional design that is used primarily in the U.S Not only is the German structure less expensive to build, but vehicles are also retrieved in less time and without the potential risk of being damaged by an attendant.


Risk of being damaged? How about when the operator backs the car on the little lift and slips off the edge?
Looks like a very cool concept though.
Well, I guess it’s less risk of being damaged. Hopefully the operator can drive in a straight line
One would hope, as that would be a nasty fall from that height!
