Well, it’s that time of year again. When we celebrate another year, we party hard, and then make some resolutions for the new year. We often will keep these resolutions for about a couple days, maybe a few weeks, and in some, months. But yet, we all still make them every year.
So, I will continue with my yearly tradition, and make some new year resolutions.
- Physical Fitness. I have always done this one, and I think it’s pretty guaranteed that it will be on about 90% of people’s resolutions. But I am quite certain that this year I’d like to make a very valiant effort to keep it. This includes cardio for overall stamina and strength, anaerobic strength training, specifically core strength(abdominal, etc.), and flexibility. Over the years I have had times when I am more fit than other times, and I always look back at those, and realize that my quality of life is noticeably better.
- Eating Healthy. This is a hard one, because eating healthy is harder, and takes more time, which is hard in our fast paced lifestyle. Most importantly I would like to eat more fruits and veggies, and drink more water. Water is essential for health and fitness, and the average person is constantly dehydrated, including me.
- Time Management. Time management is key for productivity, and right now I have terrible time management. In order to complete this term, I am going to have to force myself to learn time management skills. I am going to be juggling 7 courses at university, along with part time work. In addition to this, I would like to work on my regularity of posting on my blog, which has been lacking over the last half of the year.
These new year resolutions are only a few, but I’m hoping by making a few, attainable goals, I will actually keep them. Or that is the plan.
Hey... How did you make out with these??
